Tom Crozier 's works of art.
|Tom Crozier lives in Dane Co., WI and
is particularly fond of the southwestern portion of state known as the
"drift less" region.
Originally from the East, he has gained an appreciation of the Wisconsin rural landscape. "The hills of Wisconsin remind me of driving through the Berkshires in New England. I love the quiet serenity of the countryside, its rolling hills and the older family farms that provide true character." Tom Crozier
Mr. Crozier received a BFA in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design (R.I.S.D.) in 1975. Naturally curious about different avenues of artistic expression he also minored in painting while at school. However, it wasn't until the advent of the personal computer that he was able to marry his two passions - photography and painting. "The fact that I can take a picture and artistically render it is truly liberating".
He has focused his efforts initially on landscapes and flowers. "The goal of my work is quite simple. I want to express the different ways that light and color interact to create images that provide an emotional response."
