The Stand Off

One of my dreams is to have a log cabin on the point of a lake in northern Minnesota. My dogs would lie on the front porch feeling important watching and waiting for my return from a fishing trip. A loon family would cruise by, letting everyone know with their haunting calls that they are also claiming their territory. Life this simple would be a wonderful memory for all.
