Traditionally, the "first" day of the week has been one on which almost everyone returned to their labors; men to their work, housewives to their laundry, kids back to their schools. This corner in Fish Creek has long been dominated by the historic Noble family home looking down toward the harbor past Alwes Store, the C & C Club and Summertime Restaurant..
 

We are excited to introduce a new series, " A Week in Door County". Typical of what you've come to expert from Charles Peterson, each of the images will celebrate the daily experience of village and rural life in the Midwest. We begin the 7 print series with "Saturday Night At Ruckert's Store," the first of 3 releases in 2006. You can look forward to the "Sunday" release by June 1 and "Monday" by November 1. The series will be completed in 2007.
These new prints are utilizing the " Giclee " printing process. The technology allows us to use authentic watercolor paper for  a look so much like an original that it is nearly indistinguishable.
